How Do You Prepare Documents for Printing in Dubai?
Prepare your file, export a PDF where possible, check page size and margins, then confirm colour, sides, copies, and delivery before uploading.

Short answer
Prepare your document at the size you want printed, export a PDF where possible, and check every page before uploading it. Confirm the colour, sides, number of copies and delivery deadline as well as the file itself. A correct document with the wrong order settings can still produce the wrong result.
Which file should you send for printing?
PDF is a useful starting point because it preserves the layout you have checked. BizBee also lists Word and PowerPoint support, but its website recommends PDF and asks customers to export Excel spreadsheets before uploading. Check the current options in the document print builder.
Send the final file rather than a screenshot of it. Screenshots can include cropped edges, small text or phone interface elements. If someone sent you a document in a messaging app, download the original attachment before you prepare the order.
Give the file a name that identifies its purpose and version, such as meeting-handout-final.pdf. Open that exact file after exporting; checking the editable original does not tell you whether the export is correct.
How should you export Word and PowerPoint files?
Use the application's PDF export or save option, then inspect the result. In Word, check whether comments and tracked changes should appear. In PowerPoint, decide whether you need full slides, handouts or speaker notes before creating the print file.
Look especially closely at the first page, the final page, page breaks and any text that moved onto a new line. If the document includes Arabic and English, check both scripts, the reading order and any numbers beside them. An unfamiliar font should not become a row of empty boxes.
Font embedding helps prevent substitution, subject to the font's permissions. If an exported file looks different, fix the export rather than hoping the printer will reproduce the original.
What should you check before exporting Excel to PDF?
Check the print area, orientation and page breaks, then read the exported PDF at a realistic size. A spreadsheet that fits on one page is not necessarily readable.
For a wide sheet, landscape orientation or larger paper may work better. Excel can fit columns to one page while allowing rows to continue over several pages; forcing everything onto a single page can make the output difficult to read.
Check that the last column appears, headings remain understandable and empty spreadsheet areas have not created unnecessary pages. For large tables, compare A4 and A3 printing.
How do you check the paper size and margins?
Match the PDF page size to the paper you intend to order. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; A3 is 297 x 420 mm. Selecting A4 at checkout does not automatically fix a poorly arranged A3 document.
Leave enough room around important text for the intended print and finishing process. There is no universal margin or bleed setting for every document: an everyday office report and artwork printed to the edge need different preparation.
If exact scale matters, say so. Actual size prints without scaling, while Fit resizes content to the printable area; content can be cropped if actual-size output does not fit.
Which order settings need a separate check?
Confirm colour, sides, copies, page range, finishing and delivery even when the PDF looks right.
Colour matters when charts, highlights or photographs carry meaning. Sides matter because single-sided and double-sided versions can handle differently. Copies and page ranges matter because a correct file can still be ordered in the wrong quantity.
Our guides to colour versus black-and-white printing and single-sided versus double-sided printing explain those choices. For time-sensitive jobs, check the same-day delivery guide before relying on a deadline.
What is the final check before uploading?
Open the final attachment and confirm that the file opens normally, every required page is present, text and numbers are correct, images and small labels remain readable, comments or blank pages appear only where intended, and the file matches the selected size, colour, sides and copies.
When those checks are complete, upload your document and configure the print job. Review the full order total and delivery option before payment.

- - Every required page is present and in the correct order.
- - Text, names, dates and numbers are correct.
- - Images, charts and small labels remain readable.
- - Comments, notes and blank pages appear only where intended.
- - The file matches your selected size, colour, sides and copies.
