Short answer
Confirm the final page count, readable output size, number of complete copies and finishing before comparing the total price. For a large document, a small file error or mistaken copy setting repeats across many pages. Check the PDF in full and confirm that the finished stack suits how it will be used.
Does the PDF really contain 200 pages?
Count the pages in the final file, including covers, contents, appendices and intentional blanks.
The last visible page number may not equal the PDF's total if the document has front matter or restarted numbering.
How many sheets will the order use?
Count each complete copy separately. A 200-page file uses 200 sheets single-sided or about 100 sheets double-sided before covers or extra sheets.
If there are three complete copies, multiply the sheet count by three. Odd page counts need rounding for each separate copy.
How do you choose paper and binding for a large stack?
Consider the complete physical document: paper mass, stack thickness and whether binding or splitting into volumes is practical.
Confirm paper and finishing together rather than choosing each in isolation.
What should you review before a large run?
Inspect all pages, with special attention to dense tables, mixed orientation pages and content near the binding edge.
Use one final file version. Replacement files during production can create confusion.
