How do you find the cause in Word?
Show formatting marks so you can see paragraph endings and breaks. Inspect the content immediately before the blank page.
Work on a copy and change one cause at a time. Do not shrink an entire document just to remove one page.
Is it safe to delete a section break?
Only after you understand what it controls. A section break can affect orientation, numbering or layout.
